Was it a Good Trade?
BOGO Scholastic Book Fair at school. Even the pencil top erasers were BOGO. 2nd Grade student said he wanted me to have this Watermelon scented eraser. I told him we could make a trade. I would draw a favorite character. Was it a good trade?

Seniors & Teachers Paint
Opened up new opportunities after school for Seniors & Teachers. Seniors can bring a teacher along for an art activity or they can just show up and make art side by side. So far we have made ceramic ring dishes and had a painting session.
Lots of giggles and memories
The teacher (me) poured white glaze into the bottom of the dish (upper left). Instead of an inner glow (the goal) there is just a random white blob!
Look at the brush strokes, the colors and the movement in these beautiful paintings made by "Non-Painters" This made my day!

But I love the Book Fair and everything about it
Sure, there are some rushed flaws and it could be more creative
Pretty proud that it was done in 20 minutes
