Fairy Tale Tower

In a search for Design Challenges I found fairy tale challenges here: momgineer.blogspot.com

Students will get a kick out of this Tower Challenge.  They need to design an escape.  I made the towers to get them charged up for a creative escape route.

3.5 x 4.5 White Cardstock Journal reinforced with tape on the back.  6 Strands of red embroidery floss.  Original Polygon Cardinal.  School colors red/white.

I thought it would be easy to create this cardinal.  However, this is the 4th iteration and there is room for improvement.  Prototype on tracing paper shown below.

3.5 x 5" Black Cardstock, 6 Strands Embroidery Floss (turquoise, lime green, orange), 2 Brads for closure, filled with drawing paper. Pattern on front is a simple bulls eye/target made in Photoshop to fit the book cover.  Pattern available upon request.

NAEA Boston 2019.  I was lucky, both of my proposals for workshops were accepted again.  Writing them was a lot more challenging this time.  Embroidery on Paper & Journaling by Chance. The ticketed events were sold out and the participants were amazing! I regret not taking more photos.  As usual, I tried to cram too much in the short hour and 50 minutes.  Participants should get their money's worth.
