Straw Rocket
Straw Rocket
What you need:
Piece of copy paper
Straw
Tape
Pencil
Scissors
How to: Cut about a 2 inch piece of paper off the short end of the copy paper (shown above).
Roll it around the pencil and tape it.
Draw a rocket on the leftover copy paper.
You can draw whatever you want.
Launch a dragon, cat, tractor, butterfly
Cut the rocket out, fold over one end of the rolled paper. Tape it shut. Tape the rocket over the folded end. Put the straw into the open end.
Optional: Stabilize with fins

3 Ingredient Chalk Paint
3 Ingredient Chalk Paint
1/4 Cup Corn Starch
1/4 Cup Water
6 Drops of Food Coloring
This recipe works out well for a muffin tin.
Make a bigger batch by simply mixing 1 part water to 1 part Corn Starch.
Muffin Tin Recipe
1. Put 2 Tablespoons of water in each muffin cup
2. Add food coloring
3. Add 1/4 cup of Cornstarch
4. Stir
5. Add remaining 2 Tablespoons of water
6. Stir
The trick to vivid colors is to continue stirring the mixture. So, give it a quick stir with the brush before applying it to a surface.
Don't have a paved surface outside to use chalk paint?
Other ideas: Rocks, paper.
If you paint on black paper it looks clear at first.
Just wait for it to dry
Use it as a diffused watercolor on paper
