These student examples were made using diluted tempera paint and yarn

 

 

This video shows acrylic paint diluted with a little water.

1.  Dip string in paint

2.  Place it on the paper

3.  Place another paper on top or fold the paper in half

4.  Press and hold the paper

5.  Pull the string
