We are not in a good viewing area but it was fun to make the boxes

Back to School Prep

Twas the week before school would be back in session

All the teachers were stirring with anticipation

The clean smocks were hung on their hooks with care

The mannequins came out of their snug little bed

The interactive murals everyone has been posting are so much fun.  The kids at school will be excited to have one too.  So, why not!

Might get a better shot when it is on the wall instead of spread out between two tables.

Revived an old Art Room stool that has been welded back together several times.

I have always used a graphite stick to transfer lettering.  In a search for diy signs I saw someone using chalk.  Chalk is so much easier.  It makes a soft bright line that doesn't get in the way of oil paint pens and easily brushes off when done.  Easy Peasy! 

Just print out your words, flip them over, rub the back of the paper with chalk, trace, apply paint pen.  Brush chalk off or leave it for effect.

Used oil pens because the chalk pen rubs right off and I don't plan on changing these.  Wood sign boards & easel purchased at Target .30 cents on clearance.
