Rainbow Stained Canvas Board

 Rainbow Stained Canvas Board

Looks like tie dye!
Every part of this process is a delight!

Supplies:
1. Canvas Board
2. Spray Bottle full of Water
3. Bleeding Tissue Paper

How to:
1. Spray the Canvas Board with water
2. Place the bleeding tissue paper onto the canvas.
3. Spray again
4. Allow the tissue paper to dry on the canvas.
5. Shake the tissue paper off.

In this example, the tissue paper was cut into manageable sized squares and placed in rainbow type order on the canvas.

The tissue paper is tie dye too and can be used again for another creative project.

The canvas looks great as is but it could also be used as a background.

I found a DIY stencil idea online and it worked!  Laminator sheets cut in the Cricut made washable, sturdy stencils for my K-5 crew.

Dabbing spongey textures over the letters with glittery teal tempera was FUN!
